It’s me again.
You are going to have to bear with me for a bit, as I learn the tricks of the trade here at Substack. This experience has reminded me why I was hesitant to begin again, to start anew on a different newsletter platform. I love learning. Give me a new topic of interest to explore, to research, and I am the happiest hippie on the planet. Give me a new platform to learn, a new piece of technology to get acquainted with, and I squirm mightily and feel the onset of hives creeping in.
Please forgive the “Amanda overdose” this week, as two emails went out from me around the same time. I was unaware that a setting in Substack was turned on which resulted in my “welcome newsletter” being sent out on the heels of my “I’m Moving” newsletter. OVERKILL. I also had no idea my face would appear twice on that same “welcome newsletter.” CRINGE. My sincerest apologies. Do know that as I continue to build out my landing page you will receive emails from me sharing my latest additions to the platform. Enough housekeeping! Let’s move onto something much more fun. Let’s talk about the angelic and magnetic astrologer Pam Gregory. Today, I released my interview with Pam, who is one of my favorite humans and teachers on the planet. To me, she feels very much like the collective’s fairy godmother. And boy does our world need one of those right now! She has been a massive influence in my life over the last 4 years and I was floored when she accepted my request to be a guest on Chime In. Pam shared with me that she receives over 2,000 email requests a day inviting her to be a guest on different podcasts and radio shows. I don’t know why she said yes to me; all I know is that I shared my heart with her in a ridiculously long-winded email explaining how she has impacted my life over the last four years. I guess for a moment in time, as she read my words, my heart, we experienced coherence, alignment, resonance. I pray she felt my sincerest appreciation for her leadership, her voice, her wisdom. And just like that, many weeks later, I received an email back from her saying that she would be delighted to join me on Chime In. These are the moments of humaning that I adore.
